Usage
Defrost Instructions Defrost your turkey crown thoroughly on a tray, in a fridge (no more than 4ºC) allowing 10 to 12 hours per Kg. Check there are no ice crystals in the crown. Once thawed do not refreeze.
Cooking Instructions
- Oven cook From Defrost 190ºC/170ºC fan/Gas Mark 5. Remove all packaging, including absorbent pad, place in a roasting tin. Retain the weight label on the front of the bag for exact cooking time. Place turkey crown in a roasting tin and allow to stand at room temperature for an hour before cooking. Cover turkey crown loosely with lightly greased foil. Cook turkey crown in a preheated oven, removing the foil after 45 minutes. Remove from oven, cover with foil and rest for 10 minutes before carving. Check that the turkey crown is cooked by piercing the thickest part of the crown with a skewer. When the turkey is cooked the juices should run clear.
