To make you will need: 4 x 5ml spoons (4 level tsp) Bisto Gravy Powder 280ml (1/2 pint) cold water Meat juices from the roasting tin (after removing the meat and most if the fat) 1 In a saucepan mix 4 teaspoons of Bisto Powder with 30ml of cold water into a smooth paste. 2 Gradually add 250ml of cold water along with any meat juices to the saucepan and mix well. 3 Gently bring to the boil, stirring constantly, until thickened. How to cook
Cooking Instructions General
1. Preheat the oven to 190°C, 170°C fan assisted, Gas Mark 5. 2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken and onions for 3-4 minutes turning occasionally. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish with the carrots and pepper. 3. Mix 4-6 heaped dessert spoons (43g) of seasoning mix with 425ml of cold water and add to the casserole. Cover and cook for 1 hour, stir half way through. Ensure chicken is thoroughly cooked before serving. 4. Serve with mashed potato. Ensure product is piping hot before serving. Serves 4.
