Cooking Instructions

Cooking Instructions General Our Kipper fillets with butter are at their best microwaved straight from your freezer. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. Caution! Take care when opening as product and juices will become hot during cooking.
Microwave From Frozen 10-11 1/2 mins to microwave. Remove the bag from the carton. Pierce the bag. Place bag onto a microwavable plate and cook in the centre of the turntable as follows: Microwave Power 750W, Defrost 4 mins, Stand 1 min, Cook on full power 4 1/2 mins, Stand 2 min. Microwave Power 850W, Defrost 3 1/2 mins, Stand 1 min, Cook on full power 3 1/2 mins, Stand 2 min. Shake bag gently, cut across the top of the bag carefully using scissors, serve immediately.
Boil in the Bag From Frozen 12 mins to boil in the bag. Half fill a saucepan of water and bring to the boil. Remove from the carton and place into the saucepan. Return to the boil and simmer for approximately 12 minutes. Carefully remove bag from the saucepan and shake gently. Cut across the top of the bag with scissors and serve immediately.
